1Th 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.Th 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
1Th 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Rev 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
Rev 12:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
- In the rapture, he will come in the clouds and reveal himself to the church. In the revelation, he will come with clouds of people and reveal himself to Israel and the world.
- In the rapture, he will come to call His bride away from the wrath to come. In the revelation, he will come to execute wrath and judgment on an unbelieving world.
- The rapture will take place prior to the Great Tribulation. The revelation will take place after the Great Tribulation.
Both of these events are dealt with in Bible prophecy, and the events leading up to both are compared to a woman giving birth to a child. Jesus said, "When you see these things beginning to come to pass. Lift up your head. Your redemption is drawing nigh." The phrase, "Beginning to come to pass," actually means, "Coming to pass in rapid succession." As you know, Birth pangs get more frequent and intense until a baby is born. The fulfillment of the signs will get more frequent and more intense until Christ returns.
Whether it's the hooks being set in the jaws of the Russian Bear to eventually bring her to judgment on the Mountains of Israel, Ahmedinijad securing nukes, the persecution of the Church throughout the world, earthquakes in divers places, the Russo-Chinese-Iranian coalition that's forming, the rising inflation, the explosion of knowledge and technology, Israel now in control of Jerusalem, racism, flooding, the church's apathy, widespread apostasy, demon possession and oppression, false Christ's and Messiah's, or the mass deception at the hands of the spirit of Anti-Christ; we can plainly see that the world is in travail for her creator to return and lift the curse of the fall from off of her.
Ezekiel 38 & 39 speaks of a war with Russia and Israel, which is to take place in the latter days. I believe we are seeing the birth pangs. We must lift up our heads. Our blessed hope is about to be fulfilled. Praise God! We truly are living at the most exciting time in human history! Let's lift up our heads. Christ is coming! Our redemption is drawing nigh!

I have been studing Dispensational theology...It has been interesting to read about the the Dispensation of Promise and the Dispensation of Law.
One of the things that my profesor has said is that when the "age of grace" is coming to a close, the promises given to Isreal will start to come back in to effect...because the Dispensation of Law was not compleated, there is still 7 years left to complete which will be the time of Jacobs trouble.
I have just recently read that for the first time in 1000 some odd years the Sanhedrine has come back...composed of orthodox Jews. They also have every stone cut and labled for the New temple to be built when they get the opertunity to build on the temple mount. Not to mention that Isreal became a nation in 1948, and still is here even after persicution
It defently seems that the promises from God are now starting to take back into effect!
Amen brother! We are seeing the birth pains becoming more and more frequent and intense as each day passes, especially when it regards Israel. Whether it be the regathering of the Jews into their homeland or the drumbeat of a nuclear war with Iran, the signs are being fulfilled. Christ is coming! Watch and pray that you enter not into temptation!
This morning I felt like I needed to go and get alone with just me and God. So I parked by the ball feild in the south of town. There to my west was a dark cloud inching its way from the west.
I had been reading Luke 13:1-6, but just happened to look up to Luke 12 and found this passage, and the Lord started to speak to me through this passage.
(Luk 12:54-59)
Those of us who are with out Christ are Advasary's of God (James 4:4). We are on our way to a Judge who will judge us according to His righteousness (Heb 9:27)...While we are on our way to meet that Judge we should take use of the opertunity we have to get saved before it is eternaly to late. The bible says this is the day of Salvation (IICor 6:2) As we see these things comming together it should make those who are not right with God to start to take notice, and accept Jesus as ther Lord and Savior!
I think as we who are christians start pointing to these things it will help others who are not save understand the urgency and the seriousness of there situation, and perhaps point them to the only hope for there desperate situation.
