Henry Blackabee said it best in his famous Experiencing God studies, when he said, "God is always at work around us. We must find out where he is working and join Him." I'm finding that out to be true each and every day! God is constantly reminding me that the work I've been called to is His work and not mine. Philippians 1:6 states, "Being confident of this very thing that He who began a good work in you WILL COMPLETE IT [emphasis mine] until the day of Christ Jesus."
He is working in His church at Parkers Creek! We've seen numerous adults repenting of sin and surrendering to the Lordship of Christ. Since January, we've literally been experiencing a sovereign move of a holy God. He's at work on the T- ball team I'm coaching. I'm finding numerous opportunities to share my faith in Christ with the boys and parents. He's at work in my family. Each day, I'm blown away by the comments Andrew makes, as he is learning more and more about God. I'm overwhelmed as I see Aaron crawling and exploring his world. My wife challenges me daily by her close walk with the Lord. I saw him at work this week as I preached the funeral service for Bro. Jimmy Peek's aunt. I got to rejoice in some good news from a far country as I learned that one of my cousins by marriage had recently surrendered herself to the Lord, and that the prayers of my deceased Great Granny are still producing fruit today! God is truly at work all around us!!!
As we move forward into the summer months, let us be reminded how much God loves us and the fact that He is always at work! Let's look for opportunities to join Him on Mission. Let's remember that this truly is His work and we get the privilege of being a part of it. WHAT A MIGHTY AND AWESOME GOD WE SERVE!!!

I just would like to say that the Lord is truly doing a work at PCBC and I am glad that I am getting to be a part of it. I must say to the Lord is really convicting hearts also as far as getting closer to him and striving for a closer walk with the Master. The past few weeks I have just seen God working and showing me that nothing takes him by surprise because whatever happens he already knew that is was going to. You know though if he was to stop the circumstances or problems then we would not need his LOVE. Thank God for his LOVE. I am learning that all things really do work together for good. It has been hard for me to grasp that alot here lately but I know and am excited to see how he is going to work some circumstances I am going through right now for good. Pastor you are truly a dovout man of God. Thank you for how you have helped me. You are more to me than my Pastor, you are my Friend one who is there to comfort in times of trouble but one who is ready to let you have it if your not doing right. That is truly a friend. May God continue to bless you and your precious family and may God continue to bless PCBC..
